The role

As a Test Automation Engineer at Team Rockstars IT, you are the guardian of quality and the driving force behind robust testing processes. You ensure that software not only works, but continues to work. You have a keen eye for bugs and you ensure that code quality is always top notch, so developers can build with confidence.

What will you do?

  • Develop test strategies: You will devise and implement testing strategies that are embraced by development teams.
  • Test Automation: You will set up test automation, maintain it, and keep everything running smoothly for optimal software quality.
  • Collaborate with other teams: You will collaborate with developers, DevOps and the business to optimize testing processes and make continuous improvements.
  • Innovation: You stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques to always stay at the forefront of the field.

Who you are

We are looking for a driven Test Automation Engineer with the following attributes:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Test Automation engineering.
  • Tools: Experience with one or more code-based test tools for end-to-end test automation (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), API testing (e.g. Rest Assured, Postman) or mobile test automation (e.g. Appium).
  • Quality: Quality is in your DNA, and you have a keen eye for detail and get excited about good and reusable code.
  • Certifications: ISTQB and/or TMAP certification is a must, or you are willing to obtain them quickly.
  • Bonus points: A background in development is nice, but not a requirement.
